More than one hundred years later, Big Bad John reentered the same orbit. An android rescue team rushed to find the captain before the window of opportunity was gone. Faint life signs were discovered in a wall of ice. Lasers cut away strange-looking crystals revealing the unconscious captain who had not aged a day since he crashed on the comet.

The captain woke and found himself in a quarantine station above Earth. A monitor powered on and an officer at Mission Control welcomed him back. Control wanted to run tests on him to find out why he did not age. Medical droids tried to take the captain’s blood but none could be drawn. He did not feel pain, or need to eat.
