Bubbles broke on the water's surface. Its color changed from blue to green. It became turbulent as the bottom started to rise. The slime quickly turned into thick goo. Handmade objects started to surface. Ropes, cups, pistols, and then... gold doubloons were spit up on top of the now solidifying lake. The treasure seeker ran over the surfacing planks, choosing only a few artifacts to put in his pack. He reached for a golden head and a human skull erupted from the ooze in front of it. Next it was silver that was rising. Swords blasted through the murky ground held by skeletons of the buccaneers. Many corpses were frozen in their final poses of running each other through with blades. The explorer ran through the maze of skeletons and cutlasses without much notice except for one crewmate that popped up directly in front of him and blocked the path. Weston roundhoused the corpse and it exploded into dust.

Suddenly the swampy terrain rumbled. This was it. The explorer scaled a tall stalagmite. The pirate ship rose from its grave like a ghost. The hunter leaped from the stalagmite to grab hold of the vessel's battering ram. He swung onto the deck and made his way to the captain's quarters. The cabin was filled with king's ransom. In front of him sat the remains of the pirate captain. The corpse's skull grinned with gold teeth. Under his hat hung wavy orange hair with long, narrow candles tied to the ends. A necklace made from shark teeth circled his neck. The pirate's coat was blood red. Flintlocks were in both hands and each finger wore a diamond ring. Only now did the treasure hunter pause. He could not help but stare at this awesome site for an instant.
