"My grandpa rents this place to the Miller Mansion Historical Society," Dale explained. "They keep extra junk from the mansion here." The two friends walked between the isles studying antiques stacked on the shelves. They discovered a toy collection and moved some books to get a closer look. A book fell to the ground. Its cover titled 1898 Atlas of the World and Gazetteer flung open and dislodged a folded sheet of paper that was hidden inside. Dale picked up the paper. The boys read a handwritten date of 1899. Dale subtracted that year from their present year of 2003 and exclaimed, "This is 104 years old!"
Suddenly there was a rattle from the back door leading out to the parking lot. The door opened and a tall, old man carrying a box walked into the warehouse. The white-haired man looked sternly at the boys. "What are you doing in here?" he sneered.
Dale tried to hide his fear saying, "Uh... my grandpa owns this building."
"Well he does not own the things from the mansion so you boys better get on out of here," the man grunted. Dale and Matthew hurried out of the warehouse through the barbershop. As they shot out the door Dale called, "See you later Grandpa." In the warehouse the mansion's caretaker saw the fallen book. As he bent down to pick up the book he muttered, "No respect for history."
