"Men, we have a situation!" The Major Smith O' Reens toys stood at attention on the shelf while their oversized leader paced back and forth. "That square not only predicted each of us but also simulates thirty-minute training exercises every Saturday morning and speaks of a full-length mission soon to be released direct to home video and DVD! Failure to recover the block is not an option! I know what we are about to do goes against standard operating procedure. We did not start this war, but we are going to do all in our power to finish it!" He called out to the other toys, "Any toys wanting to join up are welcome to enlist!"
Toys from around the room sprang into action. The fire truck's ladder carried a bunch of stuffed animals that held the spray bottle fan blowing air to fly the kite. "Yee-haw!" cheered the whirling fan. Action figure majors took off from their high shelf. Some shot away in vehicles. Others launched from boosters. The oversized leader slid down a rope and stopped for an instant in front of the wind-up dog. "I knew you did not have batteries for the job!"
